Dr. Jennifer Tibbens is a board-certified family physician and the founder of Tibbens Family Medicine, a Direct Primary Care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized healthcare for individuals and families.

She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Before founding her own practice, Dr. Tibbens practiced within the Rochester Regional Health system, where she developed a reputation for her thoughtful, relationship-based approach to care.

Dr. Tibbens established Tibbens Family Medicine to bring healthcare back to what it should be—personal, accessible, and centered around each patient. Her philosophy emphasizes listening, prevention, and true partnership, empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Tibbens enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and finding calm in nature. She strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, supported, and cared for—both as a patient and as a person.
